Privacy notice
This website collects very little. There is no contact form, no analytics and no tracking. This notice explains what is collected, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Growth Hub Limited is the responsible party and data controller for the personal information described in this notice.
Growth Hub Limited is an International Business Company registered in the Republic of Seychelles under IBC No. 242368, with its registered office at Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahé, Seychelles.
For any question about this notice or about how we handle your information, contact sales@growthhub.africa.
What this notice covers
This notice applies to www.growthhub.africa and to enquiries sent to us by email. It does not cover other websites we link to, including vendor websites, LinkedIn and martinbritz.com, each of which has its own privacy practices.
We aim to meet the requirements of South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you email us
If you contact us at sales@growthhub.africa, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address, organisation, role, market and the substance of your enquiry. We use it only to respond and to take the enquiry forward.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard web server logs when a page is requested. These include the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and the browser and operating system reported by your device. These logs exist for security and for diagnosing faults. We do not use them to build profiles or to identify individual visitors.
What we do not collect
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. There is no contact form and no account registration. We do not buy, sell or share personal information.
Third parties
One third party is involved in delivering this website.
Our hosting provider operates the servers on which this site runs and holds the server logs described above.
Everything else this site needs — fonts, images, stylesheets — is served from our own domain. Your browser makes no request to any other company when you load a page here.
Why we are allowed to process it
We rely on legitimate interest: responding to enquiries that were sent to us, and keeping this website secure and functioning. Where we take steps towards a contract at your request, we rely on that basis instead.
We do not rely on consent for anything on this site, because nothing here asks for it.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as the commercial relationship or enquiry remains relevant, and thereafter only where we are required to retain records. Server logs are kept for a short period in the ordinary course of hosting and are then overwritten.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
- Object to our processing, or ask us to restrict it
- Ask for a copy of information you gave us, in a portable form
- Complain to a supervisory authority
To exercise any of these, email sales@growthhub.africa. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Where your information goes
Growth Hub Limited is registered in Seychelles and operates across African markets. Correspondence you send us may be accessed from South Africa and from other countries in which we operate. Where information moves across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard comparable to that of the country it came from.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first at sales@growthhub.africa so that we can put it right.
You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, or, if you are in the EU or UK, to your national data protection supervisory authority.
